Sharing knowledge and experience with nearby communities to accelerate renewable energy adoption.

Damday Village hosted a two-day solar energy workshop, attended by representatives from 15 neighboring villages. The event focused on sharing our experience with renewable energy adoption and helping other communities transition to sustainable power sources.
Workshop Highlights: - Technical training on solar panel installation - Maintenance and troubleshooting sessions - Financial planning and government subsidy information - Case studies from Damday's 100% solar transition - Hands-on demonstrations
Participants learned how Damday achieved complete energy independence through rooftop solar installations on every household and community building. We shared insights on:
- Choosing the right solar system size - Battery storage solutions - Cost-benefit analysis - Common challenges and solutions - Community financing models
Several villages expressed commitment to starting their solar journey within the next six months. We've established a support network to assist them during implementation.
This knowledge-sharing initiative aligns with our mission to create a network of sustainable villages across Uttarakhand. When communities work together, the transition to renewable energy becomes faster and more affordable.
